Welcome to The Cabin on the Wolf located on
the scenic Wolf River in the White Bass Capitol of the World in Fremont,
Wisconsin. Join us for some excellent fishing starting with the spring Walleye
run. Fishermen are on the water as soon as the ice goes out. Depending on Mother
Nature this can be possible in early March. The Walleye run through April and
then the White Bass action starts to heat up. White Bass fishing is good from
late April to early June. They can peak at anytime in May and if you hit them
just right a catch of 100 fish in day is not uncommon. The Wolf river not only
offers Walleye and White Bass runs, but is home to Walleye, Catfish, Smallmouth
and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Perch, Crappie and Bluegill that all provide
some of the best summer and fall fishing that Wisconsin has to offer. If you
like to fish and hunt we have an excellent opportunity to do both. We have 125
acres of private hunting land two miles from the cabin, with deer, pheasant,
rabbits and squirrels. At this time we are offering small game and archery deer
for conscientious hunters. We have some permanent stands available for your use
or you may bring your own, no screw in spikes please. We have trails cut through
the land and you are welcome to bring your ATV vehicles as long as you respect
the land. We do have an Argo 6 wheeler,
with trailer available for rent.

packages available for both hunting and fishing, please check our schedule for
